I first met him at the Bash at the Ranch in 2001 and then again in 2005 at Cowboy’s Last Bash. He enjoyed working at food prep which Leonard “Coosie” Sanders, Teddy and the Road Kill Gang used to prepare the incredible dutch oven food we enjoyed. Jonny spent a lot of time at his computer, his first assignment was to reply to an email I sent him every day, next was to check on Don’s BBS to see what the latest news was there and finally the stock market ran neck and neck in his interest in what was happening on the Weather Channel nationwide. Over the last several years he has continued to have more health problems, until a sudden hard fall on December 23 sent him to his local hospital, and shortly thereafter he was transferred to the UCLA med center for treatment for various issues which had become apparent. He was one of the kindest, most caring people I have ever met. Now his voice is forever stilled. I know that those who knew him will remember him fondly, as I do.
Sue McLaughlin
