Brine soaked ribs are in the smoker, injected sausage positioned to drip down on top of them, Chicken wings out of a buttermilk brine above them all. Apple with a mix of Pomegranate for the light smoke. Cooking since before even the dogs wanted to get woken up. At 175'F and foil wrapped when it shows signs of drying out. Now I can probably eat all week on that load, but it will be good come 3 PM. Wings and ribs will be finished over hardwood on the grill. What are you cooking?

Grilled steaks, tossed salad, baked potato, cantaloupe.  Ordinary and simple; nothing particularly special.  But that smoked feast you are making sounds delicious.  ClapThumbs Up

I had homemade chili, my mom's recipe which my wife has mastered. Them's good eats!

Any of you gents got a good dry rub recipe? I want something kind of sweet and not too spicy. Rub I've been using is getting old. I smoke with maple and apple mostly.

Lowery's Seasoning Salt and Honey (topelo) on meat from a buttermilk brine. (Use Bulgarian style buttermilk) Works for me.
