Years ago, a SubVet started Decklog to record individual submariners records.  Today that system comprises:

138,704 Sub Vets are now to be found in Decklog.
38,500 of these are known to be deceased.

Example: 724 show aboard Patrick Henry
Example: 962 show aboard Catfish

I do not think Decklog will ever be reopened for visitors to make entries.  However, all who join USSVI are automatically added through the links between Decklog and it's daughter database, USSVI.

Those boat associations who have enrolled with me have access to manage their crew records as well.

Reviewing the crew records are also accessible through the BOATS and CREWS button at www.ussvi.org.

The above was provided by Pat Householder and he further says that:
Ron, I can and frequently do make updates to subvet decklog records based on microfilm crew records, death reports, and self reported info sent to me.
Decklog can be seen at:  http://www.decklog.com/homeport.asp
***Individual records cannot be changed by Pat but only by the Boat Association managers, and those have changed over time and may not be valid now.
