That and they left off the standard surname when referring to a pro-pay sponsored, rate grabbing, Drill causing NUKE, and that surname started with an "F"

Great article Gerry thanks for posting it. The writer has a fantastic sense of humor and describes each rating as we may have...While I didn't serve on nuks we still had nicknames...sonar girls, pecker checker, enginemen were called apes... etc...We never pissed off the yeoman who threatened to lose out shot records...Now I don't even know if we actually had shot records, but we never wanted to take a chance...and he always threatened us low rated types... |
