There's been a bunch of News about the Pier 45 warehouse fire and the Liberty ship. No news on the Pampanito and its status. I believe the Pampanito was berthed in front of the Liberty ship.

"The fire was contained to this area and did not damage the USS Pampanito or our offices on Pier 45, Shed A. The SS Jeremiah O’Brien was saved, too."

I saw this photo of the Jeremiah O'Brien (posted on their Facebook page). The fire looked really bad.

They were able to get a tug to help pull the O'BRIEN (not the oldest operating Liberty Ship.. the SS JOHN W BROWN is older by about 9 months) off the dock relatively quickly.
