To quote a COB. "The only time folks like to see those Nukes coming is when the sh*t has hit the fan. That is why they are assigned to Fwd DC team and about any other response team there is". That and they left off the standard surname when referring to a pro-pay sponsored, rate grabbing, Drill causing NUKE, and that surname started with an "F"

Great article Gerry thanks for posting it. The writer has a fantastic sense of humor and describes each rating as we may have...While I didn't serve on nuks we still had nicknames...sonar girls, pecker checker, enginemen were called apes... etc...We never pissed off the yeoman who threatened to lose out shot records...Now I don't even know if we actually had shot records, but we never wanted to take a chance...and he always threatened us low rated types...CryCryCry
