Better to have states than politicians.  But, the USS Eugene B. Fluckey or the USS Howard Gilmore or the USS Edward Beach, etc., would be even better.  Thumbs Up

I have been waiting until the Election is over before doing this as some Senators/House members have changed.

I am going on a crusade to name them after our Medal of Honor awardees (two already have a DDG named for them.  Then down to the list Navy Cross winners. We have one who had 5 Navy Crosses and several with 4. 

I would be proud to serve on the Fluckey, etc. but not some blowhard Senator or even Presidents, or National Parks, or whatever. 

I will come up with a letter for your Congressional people and SecNav, etc and get it to you and where you can find their addresses!
