I think this will be my final update on the surgery for a while. It went exactly as the doctor said. It appears that the debilitating pain in the back and hip and leg is gone. The incision at this point has no real pain, I am aware of it but it does not affect me pain wise. My rehab consists of walking and walking and walking as i can tolerate it. I cannot drive until I see the Doc on the 9th of Dec. Have to be careful with bending twisting and not supposed to lift over 5 lbs for a couple of days then can increase it to 10 lbs until I see Doc. I went into the operating room at 8:30 am as scheduled and left the hospital after the recovery room at 12:00 and was home by 12:30 after stopping at chic-fil-a for some food. I appreciate all of you who sent prayers, thoughts, greetings, texts and phone calls. You are great encouragement and I am so honored to call you friends, shipmates and family. Have a great Thanksgiving tomorrow no matter where you are or your situation, because Thanksgiving is really a matter of your heart and soul, not your circumstances.

Thanks Again

Hope all continues to go well. If I remember correctly you own a Harley Trike. I think Doc would be glad to exercise the beast for you. If you trust him with it.

Walt,
Had I done everything right throughout my life, the World wouldn't have noticed.
