For those of you, like myself, that enjoyed the occasional Polish Dog while visiting Costco. There is news. Costco announced they will stop serving them due to them not being the healthiest of foods. I had been hooked on them since purchasing my first one from the cart in front of the Navy Exchange Charleston in the early seventies. I made a point of having one whenever I got guested into a Costco. Either in Vermont or Tallahassee Florida. Was usually the highlight of the trip. Now, in tune with political correctness, Costco was drying up my last source of a fix. No more sausage dog with sauerkraut. I am proud to say, that as of July 26, they will be available at Sam's Discount Club. There is one of those within five miles of my house. Never have found as good a sausage dog for sale on the supermarket shelves.
Walt,
Had I done everything right throughout my life, the World wouldn't have noticed.

Costco 'dogs have (had) become part of Americana. Too bad (for me) Sam's Club closed all of it's Idaho stores some years ago. It would't hurt for them to set up a cart in front of Wally World.
