Hi-res video of Projekt 941 a.k.a. Dmitry Donskoi visiting St. Petersburg last week. The "Donny" (seriously, they call it that) is the last operating Typhoon. 

Trivia: NATO Codename is Typhoon... Russians called the class "Akula" - Shark - which is the NATO codename for a different class of Russian boats.

Anyway, there was a big hoopla about the ship transiting through the Denmark strait and into the Baltic.

I bet... you could land a plane on that deck... I wonder of the Russians have the same philosophy of repainting things twice a year whether it needs it or not?
