He was in the forward torpedo room. The hatch blew open and hit him in the face. He got out the escape hatch and a free ascent of 192 feet. Seen on the surface, he sank there after and was lost. Fifteen years old. http://www.oneternalpatrol.com/raiford-r-m.htm |
