Apparently all Unclas, but in the aggregate may be Classified.

"The data stolen was of a highly sensitive nature despite being housed on the contractor’s unclassified network. The officials said the material, when aggregated, could be considered classified..."

When are people going to go to stand alone units, with download completely disabled? There is no way to hack a stand alone, and when movement is required the hard drive itself must be moved, or the entire unit. That is the only way systems are safe, other than direct theft of the entire unit. Some folks are seeing the light, others aren't. Yes it is inconvenient, but with some cases, certainly necessary.

This is a no-brainer.  Hackers have been digitally invading the Pentagon for decades.   There are safeguards available and they need to be utilized.  This needs to stop.

The hacking occurs because those who have the responsibility to protect our data are not doing their job.  They are either lazy, indifferent, ignorant or irresponsible.  And they should be held accountable.  And if they have been denied the resources they need,  those responsible for making those resources available should be held accountable, as well.

As a retired defense contractor of 42 years, I'd like to know which contractor it was taken from.
