I'm probably late to the game on this, but will pass it on anyway. Google youtube, then search with keyword submarine, and be ready to spend the night watching the results. Spent 2 nights and a couple of pots of coffee watching this week.

Did that, brought back a few memories. I was there '74-76 on SMMS Team, lived about 3 houses from the CPO club.

Went back for a visit in the late '90s, after the Navy had left. Was a bit depressing, the EM club had been leveled to a vacant lot, the CPO club made into civilian housing, and most of the bars were gone. Fred's guard shack on the pier was still there though!
