Being in a progressive area, we have colleges and some High Schools that think they are colleges. I run into students doing studies and surveys. One of the questions I was asked, was do you sleep in Pajamas? Then whether you had ever served in the military? I answered the questionnaire, and wandered on. Then I got to thinking. Just how many folks I served with, slept in PJ's? I only remember two that wore PJ's on the boat. Was this ingrained training from Boot Camp, where there were no PJ's? Just how many folks do any of you remember wearing PJ's on the boats?

Walt,
Had I done everything right throughout my life, the World wouldn't have noticed.

Mid 80s to mid 90s, never recall anyone sleeping in anything but skivvies or in the raw. Lots of guys went commando under their poopie suits too.

Early 60's no one slept in pj's. Lots of guys slept in their clothes on top of the flash covers on short runs. We didn't have those cool privacy curtains either, so you could have sex...Clap

Never saw Pjs on a boat. Skivvies was the choice du jour. Besides why add stuff where space was limited. I take that back. I was thinking the 40/80 club not the O country where I did see Pjs by officers including one skipper that comes to mind.
