Praying for the best outcome for him. He has been an interesting individual over the years, and a decent EM.

Thats great! As a person who has CHF, I can confirm that you really don't appreciate air until you don't have any. If you get to talk with him, please give him our well wishes!

So glad to hear that. Would miss his responses when I go to pinging on EM's. Amazing the medical advancements we have seen in just our lifetimes.

That is good news. My younger brother had COPD (both emphysema and chronic bronchitis) for about 15 years or so and was in and out of hospitals a number of times. It was not only tough on him but everyone in the family. So, I'm very glad to hear that Dan is improving and being discharged from the hospital.

Thanks for all the good wishes and thoughts. I had a nasty outbreak of COPD with a bacterial infection and couldn't breathe. I was knocked completely out for 5 days and spent 8 days in intensive care. Thank God I have a great daughter that helped me out. At one point, they had me hooked up to 19 IVs, all running at the same time. I have a picture of that IV rig and call it my September Christmas Tree.
I am better now and am able to breathe pretty much as normal now. Great Doctors and nurses in the ER room at our local hospital.
Ready now for Incoming.

So, does that picture look anything like an Electrician's Mate Chief trying to figure out the wiring he will have to replace after the 400 cycle brush assembly tore loose and shorted the whole thing out? Was an at sea repair, a benevolent Machinist Mate made the rig to recut and stone the armature on the lathe in MR1LL and rebuilt the rigging. We are useful every now and again.

Dan,
You really should use the photo on a Christmas Card this year.
