If the powers that be are giving any consideration to extending boats on patrol because there is no Corona-virus aboard currently. Bringing them in would expose them to the virus. I guess the boats still carry emergency rations for just such a thing.

Wonder what happens if one member of the crew on a boat tied up alongside the tender tests positive for this?

I can imagine the phone call, " Hi COB, my wife has tested positive so I'll be in in a couple of weeks. Let me know how the deployment went."
