Acclaimed Ocean Explorer, Tim Taylor, who heads up the Lost 52 Project has been awarded the U.S. Navy's Distinguished Public Service Award on May 21, 2021 for his work in locating 7 submarines from WWII.  Those are:
R-12, S-26, S-28, S-35, Grayback,Grunion, and Stickleback.
The Grenadier was found by an independent group.

Grunion was found by an independent group also. The son's of the boat's captain.  Not Taylor

True, but the Lost 52 Project did find and document the detached bow section, which the original expedition led by the Abele brothers were not able to locate.
