Brief of sale information

Submarineshop started business in 1996 as a partnership between Ron Martini and Gilbert Raynor.  Originally merchandise was sold on Ron's BBS to those interested.

Eventually we set up an E-commerce site on the BigCommerce shopping cart system.

Ron handled the sales side of things, patches and pins, while Gil handled the inventory and decorating of the clothing items, stickers, decals, cups, etc..

We have a 16 x 16 heat press that is included in the sale

We would provide an inventory of all decorated merchandise as well as blank stock on hand and agree on a price for that portion of the business.

We would sell the domain name and the rights to the name and if the buyer desires, we would arrange a transfer of the BigCommerce e-commerce site. Only with the transfer of the bigcomerce site would we also include a customer list of all customers who have purchased from BigCommerce.

Gil has also maintained a facebook page and Instagram page for submarineshop.

In the past our big sales have come from reunions and conventions and recently we have a few products that are purchased on a repeat basis by submarinemusuems.

I have brokered all embroidery to a local embroidery business and opted to not try to embroider in house because of initial cost and the requirement to set up the embroidery designs.  For example all custom embroidery  must be setup each time to change the boat name and number etc.  We specialized in embroidering what the customer wanted and that brought business others did not desire.

The main inventory is located in Houston Texas with the pins and jewelry type items in Wyoming.
