Captain Terrence Joseph Camilleri USN `59 age 81 of Tellico Village, Loudon, TN passed away May 3, 2017.

Terry was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan.  After graduating from the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland, he served in the Navy on surface ships and nuclear power submarines, retiring after 27 ½ years.  He then did consulting for nuclear power plants, retiring for the second time in 2003. 

Terry is survived by his wife Betty; 5 children; 11 grandchildren, and two sisters.  The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on  Tuesday, May 9th at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Lenoir City.  A funeral mass will follow at 11 a.m. with Father Doug Owens officiating. 

He will be laid to rest in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mesothelioma Foundation.  Click Funeral Home, 145 Chota Center, Loudon, TN is in charge of arrangements.
