This is Tommy Cox's family. We wanted to provide an update on Tom as we
have had a lot of people reaching out to him via phone/messenger. For
those that don’t know Tom was put on hospice on Monday. This is a
decision that he made as his complex health conditions have taken a
toll on him.
As of today Tom is not responsive, and is sleeping a lot. He will no longer be able to talk on the phone or text. If you would like to reach out please call: 207-408-4134 Please keep our family in your prayers. This is not easy as our hero, friend, shipmate is ready to be with God and his kids. Update on Tom:
We wanted to provide you all an update that Tom is being transferred to the Hospice of Care in Presque Isle for symptom management. Since 1:30 this morning he started having pain that we are unable to manage it at home. This is only way to ensure he goes peacefully. At this time we will not be taking any visitors. We are keeping it to just family. We appreciate your kind thoughts and prayers in this rough time |
