That hull looks more like the Seal Delivery Vehicle (SDV) than an actual submarine. To me it appears that hull is not intended as a pressure hull - i.e. it will have sea pressure on both sides of the hull.

They are building Suppressors (silencers to some) out of titanium through a cintering process with a 3D printer. So the process is definitely not limited to plastics anymore.
