Dan Martini (my cousin) out of Kennewick, WA is in ICU struggling with breathing.  COPD complications.

Dan was a Master Chief.  I didn't stay in past 8 years.  He served on: SS-318, SSN-590, SSBN-656, SSN-669, SSN-677, AS-31, AS-19

Tube to lungs was removed Tues night.  May be out tomorrow

That is good news.  My younger brother had COPD (both emphysema and chronic bronchitis) for about 15 years or so and was in and out of hospitals a number of times.  It was not only tough on him but everyone in the family.  So, I'm very glad to hear that Dan is improving and being discharged from the hospital.
